Advanced Metalworks to spend $10.5 million to consolidate, expand two South Carolina locations
Advanced Metalworks LLC announced December 3 it would spend $10.5 million on a new, 156,000-square-foot factory to replace and expand two of its existing locations in the same county. According to a statement from the South Carolina governor’s office, the metal fabrication company will create 69 new jobs in the process of setting up the new factory.
The company’s president, Wesley Boggs, in a statement said the expansion would help meet customer demand. The new factory will include equipment for fabricating and machining and expand on the company’s current capacity once fully operational: Advanced Metalworks says it should be up and running in the first quarter of 2026.
