SCHNEEBERGER invests $3.2M to open linear technology manufacturing facility in South Carolina
SCHNEEBERGER, a leader in linear technology, has announced plans to open a manufacturing facility in Rock Hill, South Carolina. The company, which specializes in high-precision linear bearings, gear racks, and mineral casting, invested $3.2 million in the project and will create 101 new jobs over the next five years.
SCHNEEBERGER will lease a 42,000-square-foot facility at 656 Red River Road to support customers in the electronics, medical device, and packaging industries. This location will be the company's first mineral cast production site in the United States, with operations expected to begin in the fourth quarter of 2025. The Coordinating Council for Economic Development approved job development credits to support the project.
