EnerSys has announced plans to expand its battery manufacturing facility in Sumter, South Carolina. The company, which provides energy storage systems and solutions, is investing $6.7 million into the project and creating 14 new jobs.

The project includes a 34,000-square-foot addition to the existing facility at 1990 Corporate Way.
