Aerowerks invests $10M to build material handling equipment manufacturing facility in South Carolina

The company’s new location will design, manufacture, and assemble custom systems for the food service industry. 

Aerowerks has announced plans to build a material handling equipment manufacturing facility in Gaffney, South Carolina. The company, which specializes in the production of return conveyors, tray accumulators, and dish machines for the food service industry, has invested $10 million in the project and will create 52 new jobs. 

The new U.S. operation will be located at 330 Huntington Road in Cherokee County and will serve as a design, manufacturing, and assembly site for the company’s material handling systems. Production at the facility is expected to begin later this month. 

Support for the project includes job development credits approved by the Coordinating Council for Economic Development.
