Central States Manufacturing, Inc. has broken ground on a new manufacturing plant in Tooele, Utah. The company, which specializes in metal building components, roofing, and buildings, will invest $25 million into the project over the next five years, with an initial investment of $10 million. The plant, which will span over 100,000 square feet, will be Central States’ 12th facility, and the company will hire 90 new employees to work at the facility.
In a recent quote, Tim Ruger, Central States Manufacturing President, says, "We could not be more excited about the groundbreaking of our 12th manufacturing plant in Tooele. We are thrilled to be able to provide quality metal products and exceptional customer service to current and future partners in the west, as well as extend opportunities for new employee-ownership. We would like to thank the city of Tooele and our local partners who have played a crucial role in making this expansion a reality and we are eagerly looking forward to serving community."
