Morin Corporation, a company that produces metal roof and wall systems, opened a new factory in Little Rock, Arkansas October 23. According to local news, the site cost $15 million and will initially create 25 jobs.

Company officials told THV11 of Central Arkansas that the new factory will use highly automated processes and new equipment. The Connecticut-based company produces architectural metal products, including heavy gauge, single skin metal wall and metal roof systems.

In a statement, Morin President Ilhan Eser said the placement of the new plant would strategically place it in the middle of the country, improving customer service.

“At the core of our economic development strategy is taking care of companies that have already invested in the metro Little Rock region, while also leveraging those relationships to recruit complementary businesses,” said Jay Chesshir, CEO of the Little Rock Regional Chamber. “We are thrilled to welcome another brand within the Kingspan Group to Little Rock and are grateful for the opportunities this will create for 25 families in our region.”
