Owens Corning plans to build a 150,000-square-foot facility in Russellville, Arkansas. This new investment will generate 50 new jobs for the area. Production at the Russellville plant, which will manufacture Foamular NGX extruded polystyrene (XPS) insulation, will begin in 2025. This is the third time Owens Corning has announced an expansion at an Arkansas facility in the past two years.
In a recent quote, Rodney Wideman, Vice President and General Manager of Foam Insulation at Owens Corning, said, “Expanding Owens Corning’s Foamular NGX production with this new facility will advance our ability to create sustainable solutions in the building materials industry and better serve the growing needs of our customers. We are excited to join the Russellville community and have appreciated the continued support and partnership with the State of Arkansas.”
