Owens Corning announced October 14 it had opened its latest foam insulation plant in Russellville, Arkansas. In a press release, the home construction materials company said the 150,000-square-foot site would be operational by the end of the year and create 50 new jobs. In a LinkedIn post, the company called the new plant a “milestone” for increasing deliveries.

The site is only the latest in the company’s expansion in the state. The Arkansas Economic Development Commission noted the new Russelville site follows two expansions of the company’s Fort Smith, Arkansas plant since 2021.

Owens Corning did not specify how much the plant cost to built, but Megan Selman, CEO of the Russelville Area Chamber of Commerce, thanked the company for its $60 million investment, which included a $50,000 donation to a local nonprofit for the homeless.
