Sanner opens medical and pharmaceutical packaging manufacturing facility in North Carolina
Sanner has opened a new manufacturing facility in Greensboro, North Carolina, dedicated to producing injection-molded components for medical devices, pharmaceutical packaging, and desiccant solutions. The company, which provides plastic healthcare packaging and device-related products, invested in a 60,500-square-foot facility to support its North American expansion.
The facility includes white room as well as Class 7 and 8 cleanroom space, along with full laboratory capabilities for testing and metrology. It is fully GMP-compliant and features automated environmental monitoring systems. Sanner has also built in 20,000 square feet of additional space that can be used for future expansion to meet growing customer demand.
Among the first products manufactured at the site are effervescent containers, DASG-1 desiccant closures, and AdCap desiccant canisters. The facility also includes automated high-speed desiccant filling lines to support pharmaceutical and nutraceutical packaging needs.
