Yancey Engineered Solutions invests $20.8M to locate manufacturing operations in Mississippi

Yancey Engineered Solutions has announced plans to locate operations in Batesville, Mississippi. The company, which manufactures generator enclosures and fuel tanks, will invest $20.8 million into the project, creating 250 new jobs in the process. The project is expected to be completed in the next three years. To help support the project, the Mississippi Development Authority (MDA) will provide Yancey with assistance through the Mississippi Flexible Tax Incentive, or MFLEX, program. Additional support will also come from AccelerateMS, Tennessee Valley Authority, city of Batesville, Panola Partnership and the Panola County Board of Supervisors.
