Aurora Flight Sciences has announced plans to expand its manufacturing facility in Columbus, Mississippi. Aurora, which is a Boeing company that specializes in manufacturing advanced composite components and assemblies for military and commercial aircraft, will expand its existing plant by 50,000 square feet. The expansion also includes renovation of 40,000 square feet of existing space, and new automation equipment, robotics, and non-destructive inspection technologies.
