Incobrasa Industries invests $250 million to expand soybean processing plant in Illinois

Incobrasa Industries LTD has begun construction on its soybean processing plant expansion in Gilman, Illinois. The company will invest $250 million into the project, creating 40 new full-time jobs. The expansion will include a new soybean crushing facility, adding 170,000 square feet of production space, and a 50-acre solar array. To help fund the project, Incobrasa Industries received an Economic Development for a Growing Economy (EDGE) tax credit.

In a recent quote, Aluizio Ribeiro, President/CEO of Incobrasa, said, "Today is an exciting day for Incobrasa and our community. Because of the EDGE tax credit- we will be able to expand our workforce, and our footprint with local farmers.
