GE introduces FlexEon enclosed, full-voltage, non-combination motor starters

GE’s FlexEon enclosed, full-voltage, non-combination motor starters offer original equipment manufacturers, panel builders and electrical contractors extensive, global solutions spanning from 0.5 to 100 horse power and offering voltage ranges from 120 volts AC to up to 230 volts in single-phase versions and from 208 volts to 600 volts in the three-phase versions.

The NEMA-rated IEC components can reduce panel cost by up to 20 percent compared to standard NEMA starters. In addition,FlexEon’s reduced footprint gives back valuable space for additional components to be installed and upgraded, while its plug-and-play wiring harness and customizable wiring schematics help simplify installation and maintenance—reducing service time by up to 50 percent compared to traditional NEMA starters. The new motor starters are available in both fusible or circuit breaker configurations, are compliant with both UL and CSA standards and are covered by GE’s Global warranty.FlexEon starters are manufactured in the United States and Canada,improving availability and cutting lead times in half.
