EOS invests $3 million to expand additive manufacturing facility in Texas
EOS has announced plans to expand its U.S. manufacturing and logistics operations at its Pflugerville, Texas, campus and open a new warehouse in Belton, Texas. The company, which provides additive manufacturing solutions and produces metal AM systems, is investing $3 million in the project and has created 10 new jobs at the Pflugerville production site.
The expansion includes a reconfiguration of existing manufacturing space in Pflugerville to support expanded assembly of EOS M 290-1, EOS M 290-2, and EOS M 400-4 metal AM systems. The updated production area also features a dedicated powder handling area and an in-house machine shop to support manufacturing and machine commissioning activities.
To enable the expanded manufacturing footprint, EOS consolidated its North American warehouse and logistics operations into a new 40,000-square-foot facility in Belton, Texas. The warehouse is designed to support larger inventories of spare parts, peripheral equipment, and products, helping improve availability and delivery timelines for U.S. customers.
The Pflugerville expansion includes new roles across operations, quality assurance, engineering, and machine commissioning, supporting increased production and logistics coordination within Texas.
