Collins Aerospace invests $57M to expand aerospace manufacturing and R&D facility in Texas
Collins Aerospace has announced plans to expand its aerospace manufacturing and research and development operations in Richardson, Texas. The company, which supplies aerospace and defense products globally, is investing more than $57 millioninto the project and will create over 570 new jobs.
As part of the expansion, Collins Aerospace will receive a Texas Enterprise Fund (TEF) grant of $3,718,000. The facility willsupport advanced manufacturing and research activities that align with the company's strategic focus on aerospace anddefense technologies.
The decision to expand in Richardson was supported by both state and local government partners, further enhancing theregion’s role in the aerospace sector.
