Hoffman & Hoffman announced December 16 it would expand its Greensboro, North Carolina headquarters and factory. The HVAC supplier said the expansion would cost $40 million and create 131 manufacturing jobs.

According to a joint statement with the North Carolina governor’s office, the deal is supported by a 12-year Job Development Investment Grant. The state estimated that reimbursement would be worth up to $1.1 million and increase the state economy by $487 million, provided the company meets its job creation and investment targets.
