Nathan Trotter has announced plans to construct Tin Ridge, a tin production and processing facility in Henry County, Virginia. The company, which supplies and recycles tin and tin alloy products, has invested approximately $65 million into the project and will create an estimated 118 new jobs.

The facility will be built on a 44-acre site north of Martinsville and will span 115,000 square feet. Tin Ridge will significantly expand U.S. tin supply and recycling capabilities by refining both tin concentrate and scrap tin. The site has been designed with advanced and environmentally friendly technology to strengthen the nation’s supply chain, with applications across defense systems, electronics, batteries, robotics, and aerospace industries.
