The company’s new location will also serve as its corporate headquarters as it expands operations in Richmond.

Nightingale Ice Cream Sandwiches has announced plans to open a new production facility and corporate headquarters in Richmond, Virginia. The company, which manufactures handcrafted, small-batch ice cream sandwiches, is investing $5.8 million into the project, creating 166 new jobs.

The new facility sits on a 5.01-acre lot and includes approximately 29,000 square feet of space, with 24,000 square feet dedicated to production. The expansion comes as Nightingale has outgrown its previous production space due to consistent year-over-year growth.

The Virginia Economic Development Partnership worked with the City of Richmond and the Greater Richmond Partnership to secure the project for Virginia. The company will receive support through the Virginia Jobs Investment Program, which provides consultative services and funding to support new employee recruitment and training.
