Anduril invests $75 million to expand rocket motor manufacturing plant in Mississippi

This investment will be used to increase the propellant mixing and solid rocket motor annual production capacity from 600 to more than 6,000 tactical-scale solid rocket motors.

Anduril Industries has announced plans to expand its solid rocket motor production facility in McHenry, Mississippi. The defense technology company will invest over $75 million into the project, generating 60 new jobs for the surrounding area. According to the company, this investment will be used to increase the propellant mixing and solid rocket motor annual production capacity from 600 to more than 6,000 tactical-scale solid rocket motors. Additionally, Anduril will use the money to upgrade 92,000 square feet of factory space by implementing advanced robotics equipment and modular manufacturing systems. To help support the project, the company will receive assistance from the Mississippi Development Authority through the Mississippi Flexible Tax Incentive program. Anduril will receive additional support from Stone County and AccelerateMS.
