Simpson Strong-Tie invests $110 million into new Tennessee production facility

Simpson Strong-Tie has announced plans to build a new manufacturing plant in Gallatin, Tennessee. The company, a part of Simpson Manufacturing Co., Inc., will invest $110 million into the project, generating 37 new jobs for the surrounding area. The company, which manufactures wood and concrete construction solutions, will relocate a portion of its fastener manufacturing operations to Gallatin, allowing the company to better keep up with demand.

In a recent quote, Mike Olosky, president and CEO, Simpson Strong-Tie, said, “This expansion more than doubles our current production capacity and footprint, enabling us to meet increased product demand and keep fastener manufacturing close to our North America customers. The new site will also improve efficiency, help ensure we continue to provide exceptional customer service, and open up career opportunities for employees and job applicants alike.”
