Scout Motors Inc. has plans to build a new manufacturing plant in Blythewood, South Carolina, where it will produce all-electric trucks and SUVs.
Scout Motors Inc. has plans to build a new manufacturing plant in Blythewood, South Carolina, where it will produce all-electric trucks and SUVs. More than 200,000 electric vehicles will be produced at the 1,100-acre facility, and the company’s $2 billion investment will also create 4,000 new jobs for the area. Production is schedule to begin by the end of 2026.
In a recent quote, President and CEO of Scout Motors Scott Keogh said, “We’re honored to partner with South Carolina to usher in this new era for Scout.
