Survey: 1 in 5 manufacturing workers believe robots will take their jobs

The Fabricator has released the results of a recent survey exploring workers' feelings about robots in the workplace. Over 1,000 industry professionals participated in the survey, and they offered a range of opinions on the pros and cons of robotics.

According to the findings, most American workers do not believe that they will lose their jobs to a robot, but professionals in certain industries, like manufacturing and IT were not as confident. The data showed that 1 in 5 manufacturing workers were fearful of losing their jobs to robots, and 1 in 4 had experience working with robots.
