We've all been there. You're in the middle of a DIY project only to realize that you have messed up so spectacularly that the only solution, sad though it may be, is to start over again. It's through these mistakes that we learn to be better, more precise makers. Some of us, however, don't stop, rethink, or restart a project when experiencing problems. Some DIYers, in fact, don't seem to be thinking at all.
