Baseball disintegrates on impact when fired from DIY supersonic cannon

In a recent video, Destin from the YouTube channel SmarterEveryDay demonstrates how to construct a supersonic baseball cannon.

I have a confession to make. I am obsessed with watching YouTube videos where everyday objects are launched from cannons. It doesn’t matter if it’s candy, Christmas tree trimmings, household junk, or even produce. There’s something strangely cathartic about watching consumer goods launched at records speeds. Now you might be thinking “What exactly goes into making a successful DIY cannon video?” Well, all you really need is a high-powered cannon and a collection of items that will smash spectacularly upon impact. Like a pressurized vacuum cannon that can launch a baseball faster than the speed of sound. In a recent video, Destin from the YouTube channel SmarterEveryDay demonstrates how to construct a supersonic baseball cannon. Please, don’t try this at home. This is incredibly dangerous.
