Do not DIY: Explosive baseball bat hits a home run (almost) every time

Aug. 14, 2020

In a recent video, YouTuber Stuff Made Here demonstrates how to engineer, fabricate and construct an explosive baseball bat.

Baseball is a boring sport. I’ve tried watching it numerous times on TV only to fall asleep after a single inning. I’ve had friends try to explain the basic premise of the game only for my eyes to glaze over as my mind wanders to more interesting topics. I even spent an entire Saturday sweating in the bleachers while ants in matching uniforms walked around a diamond. So very little happens each game that I’m surprised the commentators have anything to talk about. Maybe I’d find the sport more interesting if the players used modified bats with built-in explosive charges. That might keep me awake. In a recent video, YouTuber Stuff Made Here demonstrates how to engineer, fabricate and construct an explosive baseball bat. Please, don’t try this at home.
