Our panel of industry experts answer your questions about arc flash mitigation.

The risk of arc flash hazard is well-known among maintenance professionals. But what are plants doing to mitigate this risk?

On February 29, Tony Locker, PE., product manager for the protective relay products line for Littelfuse (www.littelfuse.com), participated in the Plant Services Electrical Safety: Arc Flash Hazard Webinar and discussed what companies are doing to mitigate the hazard of arc flash. This webinar explored the latest trends, highlighting how companies are using best practices and demonstrating the technologies being used to improve maintenance strategies.

Because of the overwhelming participation in our webinar, we were unable to answer all of the questions in the allotted time. Below are the answers to those questions.
