Swire Coca-Cola, USA invests $475 million to build beverage manufacturing facility in Colorado
Swire Coca-Cola, USA has announced plans to build a new beverage manufacturing facility in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The company, which manufactures, distributes, and sells Coca-Cola and other beverage brands, is investing $475 million in the project and expects the facility to create an estimated 170 new jobs.
The new manufacturing plant will be located in Southeast Colorado Springs at Peak Innovation Park. Construction is planned to begin in 2026 on a 620,000-square-foot facility that will consolidate the company’s production operations in the region. The press release did not disclose how much land the facility will occupy.
Once operational, the plant will produce more than 230 beverage options across more than 60 brands, including sparkling soft drinks, waters, teas, juice drinks, and sports beverages. Specific production rates were not disclosed. The facility is designed to support energy and water efficiency goals, and the company plans to pursue LEED Gold certification.
Employees at the Colorado Springs facility will support production, maintenance, quality, logistics, and management functions. The press release did not specify the use of particular manufacturing technologies beyond efficiency and sustainability measures.
The project followed a site selection process that involved collaboration with regional partners, and the company was offered a performance-based incentive package. Specific details of government or organizational support were not disclosed.
