Campbell Scientific opens newly expanded $40M Utah manufacturing site
Campbell Scientific has inaugurated the opening of its new manufacturing factory in Logan, Utah. According to the company, the new site will turn $40 million in investments over the next 10 years and create 268 new jobs.
The company, which makes scientific measurement instruments for the environment and infrastructure, has had its headquarters in Logan, Utah since it was founded about 50 years ago. The new building is 82,000 square feet and located north of the company’s existing headquarters.
According to a release issued in April, Campbell received a temporary marginal tax reduction for placing the expansion in rural Utah. In exchange, Campbell agreed to the $40 million and 268 new job figures.
