Berner International invests $15.4M to expand air curtain manufacturing facility in Pennsylvania
Berner International has announced plans to expand its manufacturing facility in Shenango Township, Pennsylvania. The company, which designs and manufactures high-performance air curtains for a range of industries, has invested $15.4 million into the project, creating at least 74 new jobs and retaining 127 existing positions.
Berner will build a 55,000-square-foot addition to its existing facility located at 111 Progress Avenue. The expanded site will enhance the company’s production capacity and support its ability to meet growing global demand. The new space will be used to introduce advanced manufacturing technologies that optimize operations and improve logistics.
To support the project, Berner received a funding proposal from the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) that includes a $2.4 million Pennsylvania Industrial Development Authority loan, a $575,000 Pennsylvania First grant, and a $250,000 WEDnetPA grant for workforce training.
