Apex Power Conversion opens $60M power conversion manufacturing facility in Arizona
Apex Power Conversion has opened its new United States headquarters and power conversion manufacturing facility in Mesa, Arizona. The company, which develops and manufactures power conversion systems for renewable energy and storage integration, is investing over $60 million into the facility and expects to create up to 700 new jobs by 2029.
The 206,000-square-foot facility, located at the intersection of Elliot and Signal Butte roads, currently serves as a customer engagement and product training center and will expand to include advanced multi-megawatt power conversion manufacturing. The first full units are expected to be produced in the first quarter of 2026. Apex Power’s new operations will complement its research and manufacturing presence in Spain, while leveraging Greater Phoenix’s infrastructure, workforce, and clean energy ecosystem. Mortenson served as a key development and construction partner for the site, located in Pursuit Park along the Elliot Road Technology Corridor.
