The facility will produce customized cups, containers, and clamshells made from plastic and paper.

Hotpack has announced plans to build a new manufacturing and distribution facility in Edison, New Jersey. The company, which provides sustainable food packaging solutions, invested $100 million into the project and plans to create 200 new jobs over the next five years.

The facility will span 70,000 square feet and is expected to begin operations in June 2025. It will focus on producing custom plastic and paper packaging products including cups, containers, and clamshells tailored to the needs of U.S. customers across multiple industries.

Hotpack’s new site will incorporate modern packaging technologies designed to enable precise brand customization and enhance product quality and functionality. The company is working closely with local authorities in New Jersey to ensure a smooth setup and timely launch of the plant, which is intended to support localized supply chains and reduce reliance on long-distance shipping.
