Raptor Power Systems to open new power distribution manufacturing facility in Illinois
Raptor Power Systems has announced plans to open a new power distribution manufacturing facility in Champaign, Illinois. The company, which provides power distribution solutions for industries such as data centers, military, and large-scale industrial operations, has expanded its operations with a 65,000-square-foot facility that will create additional production capacity.
Located in Champaign's industrial district, the new site will serve as the central hub for manufacturing power distribution units (PDUs) and breaker panels, complementing Raptor Power Systems' existing facility in Eatontown, New Jersey. Outfitted with automation equipment, the site will support faster production timelines, product customization, and the company’s goal of maintaining industry-leading lead times.
The new facility is expected to strengthen the company’s ability to meet growing market demand while increasing operational efficiency through advanced technology and streamlined processes.
