EFC Gases & Advanced Materials has announced plans to open a new manufacturing facility in McGregor, Texas. The company, which supplies electronic and specialty gases to various industries, will invest $210 million into the project, with infrastructure improvements made possible by the City of McGregor. According to EFC, the new plant will feature chemical synthesis operations for electronic gases and deposition precursors, specialty gas transfill facilities, a central laboratory, and a logistics hub. The project is expected to generate 120 new jobs for the surrounding area.
