AFL invests $50 million to expand fiber optic cable manufacturing in South Carolina

AFL has announced plans to expand its fiber optic cable manufacturing operations in South Carolina. The company, which specializes in producing fiber optic cables, connectivity and equipment, will invest $50 million into the project, creating new jobs at its manufacturing facilities. According to the company, this expansion will increase production capacity, help AFL develop new and sustainable fiber optic cable solutions, and support the company’s commitment to using American-made materials.
