The National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) has made some changes to its board. Kathy Wengel, who is currently Executive Vice President and Chief Technical Operations and Risk Officer at Johnson & Johnson, was elected as board chair. Blake Moret, the current Chairman and CEO of Rockwell Automation, was elected as vice chair. The two new board members have a history with NAM. Wengel serves on the Board of Directors of the MI and is instrumental in MI’s Women MAKE America Initiative. Moret has worked closely with Creators Wanted and is a past chair of the MI.

The purpose of the NAM Board of Directors is to guide the association’s leadership in policy advocacy, legal action, operational excellence, workforce development and news and insights. The NAM Board is made up of more than 200 leaders from the manufacturing sector.
