Lindsay Corporation has announced plans to expand its manufacturing facility in Lindsay, Nebraska. The company, which specializes in irrigation and infrastructure equipment and technology, will invest $50 million into the project over the next two years. The investment will be used to implement Industry 4.0 technologies throughout the plant, including the utilization of automation and robotics. The facility’s footprint will be increased by 40,000 square feet to accommodate new equipment and the latest advancements in galvanizing. The company hopes this expansion will increase capacity and capabilities in metal forming.
