DuPont opens Kalrez manufacturing plant in Delaware

DuPont has officially opened its Kalrez manufacturing plant in Newark, Delaware. The facility was built to meet increasing demand in the semiconductor and industrial sectors. The new plant will feature an ISO Class 6 Cleanroom, upgraded manufacturing equipment, optimized facility layout and space to support future business growth. These new features will expand DuPont Kalrez perfluoroelastomer parts capacity. DuPont hopes the Newark facility will increase cycle times and offer expanded areas for finishing, inspection, packaging, and shipping.
In a recent quote, Brian Ammons, Global Business Director for Kalrez, said, “We are thrilled to open this new state-of-the-art facility to support the growth of our customers.
