Huhtamaki has announced plans to expand manufacturing capacity at its Paris, Texas, facility. The company, which provides sustainable packaging solutions, will invest $30 million into the project, which includes a consolidation of an external warehouse. According to Huhtamaki, the expansion will allow the company to increase capacity in folding cartons and help support the food and beverage industry. The expanded facility will employ 80 workers within the first three years.
In a recent quote, Ann O’Hara, President of Huhtamaki North America, said, “This expansion scales up our core business to support the continued growth of our U.S. foodservice customers. The Paris plant will be key in helping the company achieve its 2030 strategy for Customer Excellence by meeting the demand for folding cartons across the region.”
