Bosch has announced plans to expand its Lincolnton, North Carolina, plant, which produces power tool accessories for saws, drills and routers. The $130 million project will last 24 months and add 325,000 square feet to the facility. This additional space will be used for manufacturing, warehousing, and logistics. The expansion, which will generate 400 new jobs, was made possible by support from a Job Development Investment Grant (JDIG) and tax abatements from Lincoln County.
In a recent quote, Mike Mansuetti, president of Bosch in North America, said, “We aim to provide local-for-local solutions to support our businesses and the expansion for Power Tools in Lincolnton is further evidence of our commitment to develop local manufacturing here in the region.”
