Simwon NA Corp., a Texas manufacturing company that produces vehicle parts, faces $298,338 in penalties from OSHA. OSHA cited the company with more than 12 serious safety violations that included failure to follow machine safety procedures and failure to provide workers with required safety equipment. According to OSHA, safety concerns were voiced by Simwon NA employees but were not rectified.

In a recent quote, OSHA Area Director Casey Perkins said, “OSHA found that – despite concerns voiced by its workers – Simwon NA Corp. ignored serious safety issues, putting its workers at risk. The company must act quickly to comply with federal safety standards before an employee suffers serious injury or worse.”
