Women in Manufacturing (WiM) is partnering with The Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME) to host two virtual events in 2023. These two career fairs will introduce job seekers to manufacturing companies that are focused on women in the industry. All job seekers from recent graduates to experienced professions are welcomed to attend at no cost. According to WiM, this professional partnership will also offer discounted member rates to students who are interested in a career in manufacturing.
Allison Grealis, WiM president and founder, recently said, “Virtual career fairs are an important part of the way WiM supports members in building their careers. “We are looking forward to this partnership with SME, which will allow us to bring even greater opportunities to candidates in search of their next industry roles. Further, we hope these career fair events are a valuable resource for manufacturing companies in their efforts to recruit more women, something the industry agrees is important for its continued growth and success.”
