Inspiration and innovation are alive and well in the manufacturing industry. Forbes recently announced the honorees of its 30 Under 30 Manufacturing & Industry for 2023. For many of these young visionaries, having businesses that focus on social and environmental impacts is essential, regardless of industry or vertical.
Some of the nominees include Alex Rappaport, who cofounded ZwitterCo to help companies take harmful substances out of their wastewater. Rahul Sonwalkar and Tanuj Tiwari cofounded LiveTrucks, a company that uses software to eliminate wasted trucking capacity at ports and warehouses. Seyed Sajjadi cofounded nFlux, which uses AI to understand all steps in a manual manufacturing process so that it can train human operators.
