A mobile classroom in Oklahoma is showing that if the kids won't come to manufacturing, then manufacturing must come to the kids.

The METS program is an effort formed by Oklahoma manufacturers, Pioneer Technology Center and the Ponca City Development Authority to promote and develop careers in the manufacturing industry.

According to Pioneer Technology Center, “the METS mobile skills lab was created based on the concept that young people need to understand the relevancy of math and science in the workplace. As the project developed, Pioneer Tech identified immediate industry and workforce needs that could also be addressed by a mobile training lab.”
