Job requirements include:

  • Typically possesses eight or more years of electrical engineering experience
  • Demonstrated experience performing inspection, repair and testing of electrical apparatus
  • Demonstrated experience with problem diagnoses, troubleshooting and providing recommendations for the repair of electrical apparatus
  • Demonstrated experience directing engineering tasks associated with critical engineering projects
  • Demonstrated experience participating cross functional teams
  • Demonstrated ability to accurately analyze information and make sound decisions
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and accountability for individual and team results
  • Demonstrated ability to interface effectively and collaborate with customer, peers, and management to develop solutions and ensure stakeholder buy-in
  • Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
  • Demonstrated experience using CAD software such as Autocad
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret engineering drawings in order to perform work
  • Demonstrated ability to follow Edison safety protocols and safe work practices
  • Must demonstrate the ability to integrate work across relevant areas and provide exceptional service to internal and external customers
  • Must demonstrate effective project planning, results delivery, team building, and the ability to stay current with relevant technology and innovation
  • Must demonstrate strong ethics, influence and negotiation, leadership, interpersonal skills, communication, and the ability to effectively manage stress and engage in continuous learning
