Job requirements include:
- Typically possesses eight or more years of electrical engineering experience
- Demonstrated experience performing inspection, repair and testing of electrical apparatus
- Demonstrated experience with problem diagnoses, troubleshooting and providing recommendations for the repair of electrical apparatus
- Demonstrated experience directing engineering tasks associated with critical engineering projects
- Demonstrated experience participating cross functional teams
- Demonstrated ability to accurately analyze information and make sound decisions
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and accountability for individual and team results
- Demonstrated ability to interface effectively and collaborate with customer, peers, and management to develop solutions and ensure stakeholder buy-in
- Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
- Demonstrated experience using CAD software such as Autocad
- Demonstrated ability to interpret engineering drawings in order to perform work
- Demonstrated ability to follow Edison safety protocols and safe work practices
- Must demonstrate the ability to integrate work across relevant areas and provide exceptional service to internal and external customers
- Must demonstrate effective project planning, results delivery, team building, and the ability to stay current with relevant technology and innovation
- Must demonstrate strong ethics, influence and negotiation, leadership, interpersonal skills, communication, and the ability to effectively manage stress and engage in continuous learning
