EcoSys' (www.ecosys.net) web-based project cost management solution, EcoSys EPC (Enterprise Planning and Controls), has been implemented by Noble Energy, Inc. (www.nobleenergyinc.com), an energy company engaged in worldwide oil and gas exploration and production.

Noble Energy is currently using EcoSys EPC to manage project costs for the multi-billion dollar development of two offshore natural gas fields. By integrating with existing systems, EcoSys EPC provides automated reporting to improve data integrity and cost analyst efficiency as labor is shifted from compiling reports to high-value activities, such as analysis and forecasting.

EcoSys EPC allows project controllers to manage budgets, commitments, changes, forecasts, variances, earned value and facilitates time-phasing of costs over the life span of the project.  In addition, EcoSys EPC integrates with Noble Energy’s installation of Oracle E-Business Suite to obtain actual cost expenditure data for reporting.
