Kid Grid encourages children to learn STEM education

The Marbles Kids Museum introduces Kid Grid, an interactive power grid exhibit designed for children to learn STEM education and how to make smart energy choices.

The Marbles Kids Museum in Raleigh, North Carolina is now home to the recently constructed Kid Grid, an interactive power grid exhibit designed specifically for children. ABB granted the museum one million dollars to fund this unique project.

Electricity and power grids have been foreign to children before Kid Grid; now children can learn about energy and how to make intelligent choices when it comes to energy consumption. The grid fully implements STEM technology and encourages children to get involved in the sciences.
