As much as people would like to believe that the reason that they aren’t more women in STEM careers is because they choose not to be, that may not be the case. The infographic shows that women in STEM get less recognized for their accomplishments as men do, and they get paid less than men. With that knowledge, it becomes clear that women are not only put off by the severe negatives of working in STEM, but they want to have a career where they actually get treated justly.
