Greenlee announces that electrical training centers nationwide have begun receiving new program materials and equipment, as part of its partnership with the National Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee (NJATC). Over the next five years, Greenlee will support the creation of new curriculum and modules for NJATC training centers, and provide product endowments to allow students to utilize the  best tools for a hands-on education.

“Quality training plays an important part in the beginning of apprentices’ careers, and we are dedicated to working with the NJATC to ensure we support future electrical workers with the best training possible,” said Scott Hall, President of Greenlee and Textron’s Industrial Segment.

Two new academies – the Greenlee Safety Academy and the Greenlee Safety and Productivity Enhancement Academy – are also in development. These academies will reinforce curriculum with online real-world applications, and bridge the gap between theories learned in class and experience gained on the job.

In addition, a Greenlee Scholarship & Awards Program will annually reward top graduates of the National Training Institute (NTI) instructor training program.
