The physics behind the music: How OK Go shot their latest music video in zero gravity

One band is explaining the real-life physics behind their gravity-defying video.

Have you ever watched a video online and wondered "how did they do that?" Unfortunately the answer is usually green screen, CGI or some other movie magic. Well, now one band is explaining the real-life physics behind their gravity-defying video. In OK Go's music video, "Upside Down and Inside Out," the band performs choreographed routines while floating through the cabin of an airplane. The result is a colorful expression of wonder and joy.If you have never seen the video, watch it below.
In a video released this week, the band gives viewer a behind-the-scenes look at planning such a technically difficult video, training at the Yuri Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center outside Moscow, and overcoming the challenges of zero gravity.
