Watch an adventurous firefighter ride a bucking fire hose

July 27, 2017

If you have a fire hose, a crane, and an adventurous spirit, then you, too. can bring the rodeo to your backyard.

Are you an adrenaline junkie who is always looking for bigger, better thrills? Have you always wanted to ride a bucking bronco but were deterred by the looming threat of severe injury or death? Have you ever considered riding a fire hose at full power? If you have a fire hose, a crane, and an adventurous spirit, then you, too, can bring the rodeo to your backyard.

According to Eric Limer for Popular Mechanics: "This stunt was done by firefighters in Belcourt, North Dakota who are prepping to turn their rodeo into an actual competition. The results you see here were accomplished by 200 PSI out of a 3-inch hose, and considering some hoses can deal with pressures of up to 290 PSI, there's room for it to get even crazier. Probably better to see if anyone can hold on at all first."
